This Society notes:
1. Section 5.1 of the Constitution:
- "8.5 As an exception, for any Motion proposing a change to this Constitution, the quorum will be two thirds of the Members, and the vote must be performed at an SGM."
This Society believes:
1. The level for quorum is too high, making Compsoc unable to change the consitution in any SGM other then the first
This Society resolves:
1. To change Section 5.1 of the Constitution to:
- "8.5 As an exception, for any Motion proposing a change to this Constitution, the quorum will be one quarter of the Members, the vote must be performed at an SGM and requires a 70% majority to pass."
Proposed by Michael Barnwell, seconded by Oliver Cole.
