My Manifesto - seconded by Mathew Mole (Gairne): According to the society constitution:
- 5.1.3 The Treasurer manages the Society's financial assets, arranges the purchase of new equipment, and manages the funding of events.
I believe I would be moderate in this position (Alex is probably better) as i am good at managing money (I only went £30 overdrawn at christmas!), and I strongly suggest we actually use the money to subsidise things for members, or pay for events, for example - the friday meets
I propose that I spend loads of compsoc money on alcohol!
No, seriously, if we plan on getting drunk on fridays, it should be subsidised so more people turn up!
Also, it is unfair that random people endlessly pay 50p's to play table football and pool. Compsoc should pay for this, maybe £2 every month for table football. This is easily affordable, and great fun
Of course, as your treasurer, I can still only suggest these for the officers to vote on, but as you can see, I care about our society and want to use the funds for betterment of the society and making it worthwhile for members.
Numbers to show i can do number stuff: this year, ~40 people joined. that's £120!
apparently we're here for about 8 months a year, so that's only £16 for the table football! 
Also: more random numbery stuff! I believe having subsidisation = MORE MEMBERS, AND MORE MONEY! (i like money)
More money = more things can then be arranged and subsidised
