Allen Brooker
I'm a second year student studying Computer Science. I'm also a member of the Adventure Gaming Society ( http://www.adventuregaming.co.uk ). In my spare time I enjoy programming and helping others, particularly other users of the open source software I use such as Gentoo line. My hobbies include linux (Gentoo), programming, computer gaming, roleplaying, cycling and reading. I also play Magic The Gathering (AKA Cardboard Crack).
I can be found on KentIRC as AllenJB where I enjoy helping people in #javahelp amoung other channels, as well as the usual idle chattering. I'm also regularly on Freenode, Darkmyst and occaisionally OFTC under the same nickname.

Computer Games
I enjoy playing UT2004, UT99 and the odd spot of Quake3 as well as Total Annihilation. Single player wise I currently occaisionally play OpenTTD (Transport Tycoon Deluxe port), DefCon, Uplink, nethack, Freeciv and LinCity-ng. I'm currently looking forward to UT2007 and Supreme Commander.
I also enjoy good MMORPGs - I've played Neocron and Anarchy Online. I'm currently looking forward to Fallen Earth.
